Instagram Reels are editable, brief videos that can be recorded. 

Voiceovers, effects, and music are all possible in reels. 

Short videos can be recorded, edited, and edited with the addition of music, effects, and voiceovers.

If you record them with Instagram's camera, they can last between 15 and 90 seconds, or between 3 and 15 minutes if you upload them with a third-party app.

You can control who has access to your audio and who can view your reels.

To download an Instagram Reel, you can do the following: 
  • Open the Reel you want to save
  • Tap the Share icon in the bottom right corner
  • Select Download at the bottom
  • The video will save to your camera roll
  • If you don't see the Download option, you might need to update your Instagram app.
Note: You may need to select Download in order to save the video without audio if you want to download your own Reels with music.  

Using a third-party app, you can also download Instagram Reels to a computer.
