Etisalat pulled out of the market in July 2017 because its debt wasn't paid back or rescheduled. The regional provider is now known as 9mobile. Nigerian private limited liability company 9mobile was founded. The Nigerian Communications Commission granted EMTS a Unified Access Service Licence in 2007.

They are several ways to check your Etisalat number and I will show you in this blog post.

Dial *248#: To find out your Etisalat number, use the phone number *248#. Your number will appear on the screen. 

Android Phone: On an Android phone, you can also verify your phone number by navigating to the settings, selecting "About phone/device," "Status/phone identity," and finally "Network."

Apple Phone: On an Apple phone, you can also view your phone number by selecting "Phone" and then "My Number" from the settings menu.

Android code *#99#: Additionally, you can use the Android code *#99# to check your phone number. 

SIM Pack or Card: Look for the Etisalat logo on the pack and check the label for your phone number. You can also find your number printed on the SIM card itself.

Call: You can call a different number if you don't know your phone number.
