LIST OF WAYS TO CHECK YOUR MTN DATA BALANCE

You can try any of of these method to check your MTN data balance.

To check your MTN data balance, you can: 
  • Dial *323# on your MTN phone: You can use your phone to dial *323# to see your MTN data balance. You'll get an SMS with your data balance and a pop-up with your current balance.
  • Text 2 to 312:  Open the message box on your phone, type 2, and send it to 312 to check your MTN data balance via SMS. There will be a reply for you with your data balance. 
  • Dial 3124# for your main data bundle and bonus: You should receive an SMS with your main data bundle and bonus after dialling 3124#.
  • Dial *310#: You can dial *323# to find out how much data you have left on MTN. A message with your current data balance will be sent to you.
  • Use the myMTN app: Installing the myMTN app is the first step towards checking your data balance. Once the myMTN app has been installed, log in with your MTN number. Your data balance will be displayed on the dashboard after you log in.


  • MTN MiFi: You can use your MTN MiFi to check your data balance by opening your browser, typing in 192.168.0.1 as the IP address, and choosing "Check data balance." You will receive a message with your current data balance.
  • Use Zigi: You can use Zigi to check your MTN data balance by using your browser to visit www.mtn.ng. To initiate a chat with Zigi on your preferred channel, click the Contact section. Send "Hello" to begin a chat with Zigi, select "Data Balance" from the Enquiry menu after tapping on it, and respond with your correct MTN number when prompted.
  • Dial 180 to contact MTN customer care: You can use the dialer on your phone to check your MTN data balance by dialling 180 from your MTN line. Then, you can follow the instructions. A customer support agent will assist you with any questions, including checking your data balance. 
  • Dialing 1314#:  Also, you can use any MTN data subscription plan to check your data balance by dialling 1314#. Dial 1314# on an MTN line to view the following information: Data usage history, including the last seven days' worth of usage. The current status of the MTN data subscription whih is the "status of data subscription." , and the amount of data remaining and the expiration date make up the postpaid data balance.
  • Dial 406#: Dial 406# and select your preferred bundle, select 3 to choose the Nightlife Bundle, then select 3 again to choose Balance to check the balance of your MTN Night Bundle.
  • Dial 556#: Dial *556# to check the balance of your MTN account, including your data balance. Your bonus balance and airtime balance will also be displayed. 
  • Use myMTN web: By going to the myMTN website, you can use myMTN web to check your MTN data balance. After downloading the app and entering 5018 with myMTN, then check your shared data balance with the app.
  • MTN Pulse: You can dial *123# and follow the instructions to check the balance on your MTN Pulse. An internet connection is not necessary to use this method.
