A person's biometric information and other details are compared with the NIN in the National Identity Database as part of the verification and authentication process.

You can do the following to link your NIN to get free airtime on Airtel line: 
  • Visit the Airtel website.
  • Click NIN.
  • Put in your Airtel number here.
  • Select "Send OTP."
  • Enter a your phone number or your email address.
  • Click Continue.
  • Enter the OTP and make sure.
  • Enter and validate your NIN.
Dial  1211#: You can use 1211# to link your NIN to get free airtime on Airtel as well. 

Airtel Store: To link your NIN and re-register your line, you can also go to the closest Airtel store. 

After the first day of use, the bonus is valid for two days. 

Within two days of the first use date, the bonus is valid.
